Laurel TV is not only a public access television station. It is also a dynamic community media center that connects people, trains them, and offers professional assistance to create compelling, high quality productions.

Any individual who lives or works in the greater Laurel area may become a member of Laurel TV. All members are required to pay an annual membership fee and agree to abide by Laurel TV’s policies and procedures which are outlined on the Laurel TV website- laureltv.org.

Show Production Membership (Show Airing on Laurel TV)

$1200/year

Benefits:

  • Studio A-Large, three camera HD studio with full lighting and news desk and graphic monitors
  • Studio B-Small, three camera interview studio set with full lighting
  • Tricaster Switcher
  • Production Crew ( Director, Audio Technician, Floor Director, Camera, Telepromtper, Technical Support)
  • Field Crew (Videographer, Editor) maximum availability is three days/month
  • Staff assistance with graphics and show opens for the productions.
  • 12 Monthly, 30-minute episodes each year. Production of each episode is limited to four hours maximum including set up time for the crew.
  • Delivery of professional product for airing on Laurel TV Comcast and Verizon channels
  • Program will be aired on Laurel TV’s live stream platform and LaurelTVOffical YouTube channel
  • Each show producer will receive a video-on-demand link for each episode

Commercial Rental Rates for non-Laurel TV Productions

$1,000 per production

Benefits include:

  • Production Crew (Director, Audio Technician, Floor Director, Camera, Telepromtper, Technical Support)
  • Field Crew (Videographer, Editor) maximum availability is three days/month
  • Staff assistance with graphics and show opens for the productions.
  • One, 30–60-minute episode. Production of each episode is limited to 8 hours total, including up to 3 hours of crew set up time, 4 hours of field shooting and editing, and one hour to transfer completed program onto flash drive and create link)
  • Delivery of a professional product in HD format

Field Equipment for non-Laurel TV productions

$250 refundable deposit per kit

*Renter is financial responsible for damage and/or loss of any equipment

Field Kit includes:

  • Sony HD Camcorder
  • Two camera batteries
  • Tripod
  • Wireless Mic Kit
  • Headphones
  • Sim Card ( to be returned with equipment) Please remove all video to a personal drive before returning the SIM card) Light Kit
